Role Purpose

As a Senior QA Analyst at Involgix.ai, you will be responsible for ensuring that our AI-driven software products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, reliability and user experience. You will act as a bridge between product, development, and operations teams, designing and executing robust test strategies, automating where applicable, and driving continuous improvement in quality processes. You’ll help mentor junior QA engineers and help shape the QA practice within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the QA strategy and test plan for major product releases: manual + automated testing, regression, integration, performance, usability, security testing.
  • Design, develop and maintain test cases, test scripts (both manual and automated), test data and test environments.
  • Execute testing across the full lifecycle: requirement analysis, design review, test planning, test execution, defect reporting/triage, re-testing, verification of fixes, regression testing, release validation.
  • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, UX/design, development and operations teams to understand requirements (functional & non-functional), user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure testability.
  • Provide leadership in designing and building/maintaining test automation frameworks, selecting tools, implementing CI/CD integration for automated testing.
  • Identify, monitor and report key QA/quality metrics (defect density, escape rate, test coverage, automation coverage, mean time to detect, etc.), and use metrics to drive process improvements.
  • Proactively identify risks, drive root cause analysis of defects/production issues, and propose/implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to improve product quality.
  • Mentor/guide junior QA analysts and testers: review test cases/scripts, provide training, promote best practices in QA, help raise the competence of the team.
  • Promote and embed a quality mindset across teams: advocate for “shift-left” testing (testing early in the SDLC), continuous testing, quality gates, and transparency of quality status.
  • Ensure testing for AI/ML modules (if applicable) covers algorithm correctness, model drift, data integrity, performance/latency, biases, edge-cases. (Tailor this if Involgix.ai is heavily AI-driven)
  • Participate in release planning, production readiness reviews, triage meetings and post-release retrospectives.
  • Stay updated with industry trends in QA, testing tools, automation frameworks, AI/ML testing, and propose adoption of new practices/technologies.

Experience & Skills

Experience:

  • Typically 5+ years in software quality assurance / testing role for web/mobile/SaaS applications; at senior level would expect experience in leading testing initiatives, automation framework build-out and some team mentoring.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum/DevOps environments.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing, including functional, system, integration, regression, performance, usability and possibly security testing.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), QA methodologies and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
  • Programming/scripting knowledge (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#) is a plus — especially for automation.
  • Familiarity with API testing, database/back-end testing, and perhaps mobile/web testing.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into those.
  • Strong defect/bug tracking and test management tools knowledge (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication (both written & verbal) and collaboration skills; ability to work with peers in product, dev, operations, and stakeholders spanning different functions.
  • If the company deals with AI/ML: understanding of testing ML systems (data quality, model validation, bias testing, performance at scale) is a distinct plus.

Soft/Leadership Skills:

  • Able to drive quality discussions and decisions with stakeholders.
  • Mentor and help elevate the QA team’s capabilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Good organizational skills, ability to multitask across multiple projects/releases.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline (Master’s a plus).
  • Certifications like ISTQB Advanced, CSQA, or other relevant QA/testing certifications are a plus.
  • Prior experience working in a tech/SAAS/AI company is desirable.
  • (If AI/ML domain) Exposure to testing data pipelines, ML model validation, productionizing AI systems would be a differentiator.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Proficiency:

  • Expertise in ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript), UI policies, Business Rules, and Flow Designer.
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM.
  • Proficiency in web technologies like HTML, XML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Studio and Scoped Applications.

Integration & Automation:

  • Experience in integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
  • Ability to automate business processes through scripting and ServiceNow workflows

System Administration:

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow platform administration, including user roles, permissions, and security configurations.
  • Experience with platform upgrades and patch management.
